When founder Ryan Spence had to walk away from organic farming due to an injury, goodparma was born. A recipe he had been perfecting over a few years alongside his mother was ready to be shared with the world. Ryan believed there was a need for a healthy dairy-free "parm" that stayed true to the values of its customers. These values include sustainability, health & vitality and compassion for others. He also strives to minimize waste and is proud to use glass packaging as well as offering refills. Ryan used his studies of holistic nutrition to help create a line of plant based cheesy toppers that could provide a healthy boost and dash of flavour to virtually any meal. As a vegan and animal rights advocate for over a decade, it was also important to find ways to help animals through the business. Good Parma donates 10% of proceeds to North Mountain Animal Sanctuary.
Today Good Parma is produced by the amazing team at Dartmouth Adult Services Centre in Nova Scotia.
